Comments
Pin a comment to a spot, an item or an area, reply, resolve, and keep track of what you have not read.
Add a comment
Pick Comment (C) on the tool rail. Click to pin a comment to a spot, or drag to mark an area. Write, and press Enter or Post.
A comment put on an item is attached to it and moves with it. If the item is deleted, the comment stays where it was. Viewers can comment too, so reviewers never need edit rights.
Reply, resolve and tidy up

- Every comment is a thread. Replying to a resolved one reopens it.
- Resolve and reopen
- Whoever started the thread, or anyone who can edit the board.
- Edit
- Your own comments. Edited ones say so.
- Delete
- Your own comments, or any on your own board. Deleting the first comment deletes the thread.
The comments panel
While the Comment tool is on, a Comments panel lists every thread, most recent activity first, with its reply count. Click one to go to it. Resolved threads are hidden until you turn on Show resolved.
Other people's comments you have not read get a magenta dot on their pin and in the panel, and the Comment tool shows how many, up to 9+. Opening a thread marks it read.
A comment can be up to 5,000 characters. Comments are for people; to ask the AI, use a chat, see Ask the AI.
