Video calls
Talk on the board itself, with each person's video riding along under their cursor.
Faces where the work is
Calls happen on the board itself. Each person's video sits in a round bubble next to their cursor, ringed in their color, so you see who is talking and where they are pointing at the same time. When someone's cursor is off your screen, their bubble waits at the edge with an arrow pointing their way.
Join and leave
- 1Press the camera button in the top bar, Join with camera and microphone. When a call is already running it has a magenta dot, and a notice says who is in it.
- 2Allow your browser to use the camera and microphone. You join with both on.
- 3Leave with Leave the call, or by leaving the board.
- Mute and unmute
- Muted people show a small red microphone on their bubble.
- Turn camera off
- Stops the camera itself, not only the picture.
- Who can join
- Anyone on the board: owner, editors, viewers and guests.
If it does not start
The call says what went wrong:
- Not allowed
- The browser was not allowed to use the camera and microphone. Allow it in the address bar and join again.
- Nothing found
- No camera or microphone was found.
- In use
- Another app is using the camera. Close it and try again.
People connect directly to each other, so calls suit small groups. Calls need a board saved online: share it or sign in first.
